- To communicate and coordinate the efforts between the University and Ministry of Education concerning R & D Support in the universities
- To communicate and coordinate the efforts between the University on one hand and both public and private sectors on the other; and derive benefit from all available R & D initiatives
- To simplify work procedures and facilitate collaboration between the University on one hand and the Ministry of Education, and both public and private sectors on the other hand in terms of all aspects related to R & D Initiatives.
- To act on reinforcing academic potentials and research capabilities in the University; develop a medium stimulating to academic research, development, intellectual creativity and optimization of technology.
