Oriented Social Research Initiative
The aim of this initiative is to encourage high quality and influential social science research in the fields having the same strategic importance to the Kingdom. It also targets social research initiative aiming to improve and raise awareness of evidence-based policies research and building the social science research in Saudi Arabia. This initiative aims to stimulate cooperation and teamwork among workers in the field of social science in the Kingdom, and linking various research organizations and groups.

Meanwhile, technological developments and changes have also their own effects on urban planning and design.
